Born and raised in West Seneca, NY.  Spent 4 years in PA at Bucknell University, 1 year in NJ, made a quick stop in Lake Placid to ski for a winter, then moved back to WNY in 2002.

After discovering cornhole at a friend's party in 2008, I made my first set of boards, and since then it's just been a hobby making sets for family, friends, and neighbors.  I was always encouraged to make a business out of it, and in the fall of 2021 I finally decided to create Nickel City Board Company.
